I am in second trimester and getting dull pain near pelvic area when I walk or turn in bed. It is not severe but uncomfortable and new for me. Is this stretching type pain or something to ask doctor urgently?
Gentle prenatal stretches and pelvic tilts helped my ache a lot, but only after my doctor okayed them. Also avoid sudden twisting and crossing legs. If it's manageable it's likely normal, just dont push through sharp pain.
Mild pelvic ache is usually the growing uterus, but i'd mention it to your gynac anyway just to be safe. If the pain is severe, rhythmic like cramps, or with any spotting or fluid, please dont wait, call them. I learnt to never brush off pain.
Pelvic pain is super common, it's mostly your ligaments stretching and the baby putting pressure as it grows. A maternity belt and not standing too long helped me. But if it's sharp, one sided, or comes with bleeding, get it checked.
Omg same, i get this pulling ache near my pelvis and i kept wondering if something's wrong. My doc said its normal stretching as long as no bleeding. Anyone else feel like a heaviness down there? Felt better knowing its common.
Don't panic beta, the body is making room for the baby so some pelvic discomfort is expected. Rest, change positions slowly, warm support helps. But if it gets bad or you feel unwell, ring your doctor.
