I am in second trimester and white discharge has increased a lot. There is no bad smell or itching, but the amount makes me worried. Is this common or should I mention it to gynac?
My doctor said mild white discharge is normal in pregnancy because of increased hormones and blood flow, its the body keeping things clean. But she told me to report if it turns green, smelly, or itchy. So normal in general, watch for changes.
Totally normal, happens to most of us, hormones increase it. As long as its white and odourless dont worry. If it itches, smells bad or has colour, then show your gynac.
I got worried about this too, felt like there was more than usual. My doctor said its common. Did you also feel anxious about it? As long as no itching or bad smell its okay apparently.
Dont worry beta, milky white discharge is a normal part of pregnancy. Just keep clean and wear cotton. But if it changes colour, smells or burns, then do mention to your doctor.
