Ever since I got pregnant, I feel like I'm running to the washroom every hour! It's especially bad at night. Why do we urinate so frequently during pregnancy? Is it just part of it?
My little one is a toddler now, but I still remember running to the washroom every ten minutes! It happens because of hormonal changes early on, and later because the baby is pressing down. It gets completely normal after delivery, don't worry.
I had such terrible vomiting that I was dehydrated, yet I was still peeing constantly! It's so exhausting, but try not to cut down on your water intake because of this. Just sip water slowly throughout the day instead of drinking a whole glass at once.
This is extremely common because of the pressure on your bladder. Even after my C-section, it took a few weeks for my bladder to feel completely normal again because of the catheter. Just keep drinking water to avoid any urinary tract infections.
For me, the frequent urination started in the very first month and lasted till the day I delivered. It felt like the baby was using my bladder as a trampoline! It is totally normal, just make sure you don't hold it in.
Actually, I am going through this exact same thing right now, it is so annoying! I have to plan my outings based on where the nearest washroom is. Is anyone else also getting up 4-5 times in the middle of the night?
