This is my ivf pregnancy and ive had a bit of bleeding twice already, im 8 weeks. Read somewhere ivf pregnancies tend to bleed more and got curious why. Any ivf mommas here who went through this?
I had some bleeding in my IVF pregnancy and it scared me a lot. My doctor said it can happen more with IVF due to the procedures and hormone support, but each spotting still needs to be reported. Please dont go through it alone, keep your clinic in the loop always.
After my complicated pregnancy I really feel any bleeding should go straight to the doctor, IVF or not. Please dont rely on general reasons online, your clinic knows your exact case. Call them, dont wait.
My gynac told me IVF pregnancies are watched more closely so bleeding gets noticed more, plus the hormone meds and multiple embryos can play a role. She said most light bleeds settle but never to ignore them. Whatever bleeding you see, tell your fertility doctor same day.
