Im 30 weeks and by evening my feet look so puffy, my chappals feel tight. Mornings are okay but it gets worse through the day. Just curious whats actually causing it, is this a normal pregnancy thing?
My feet have officially turned into bread loaves in this third trimester, none of my chappals fit. Apparently it is the extra fluid and the baby pressing on stuff. I just elevate them and live in oversized slippers now, haha.
It is the extra fluid and the growing uterus pressing on veins, very common in later months. I kept my feet up whenever I sat and it helped a lot. But if one foot swells way more than the other, or you get sudden swelling with headache, tell your doctor at once.
Mild swelling in feet and ankles is normal, especially by evening. But please watch out, if the swelling is sudden, in the face or hands, with headache or blurry vision, that needs the doctor right away as it can mean BP issues. Better to mention any swelling at your next visit too.
