Im in my 6th month and suddenly my thighs feel so much heavier yaar, none of my old leggings fit. Is this normal weight thing or something else? Anyone else noticed this?
Sometimes normal weight gain is fine but pls keep an eye on what you eat, especially sugar and carbs. I had gestational diabetes and gained weight rapidly on my thighs and hips too. Better to maintain a healthy active routine and avoid too many sweets.
This is very common during pregnancy. Hormones like estrogen make the body store fat in thighs and hips to balance the baby bump. It usually goes away after delivery with a bit of walking and nursing.
Sis, my thighs became like tree trunks during pregnancy lol! Honestly, body stores fat there for breastfeeding energy later. Just enjoy it now, once baby comes you won't even have time to look in the mirror anyway.
If it is just normal fat gain it is okay, but if you feel sudden swelling or heaviness, do talk to your gynac. Sometimes water retention can cause swelling that needs medical attention. Always safe to double check during your checks.
Actually physical changes are just God's way of preparing us and making space for the little angel. Thighs and hips widen naturally to support the baby's weight and help during labor. Stay positive and keep smiling, everything will be fine!
