My baby is 4 months now and honestly the weight is just not going. I see other moms back in shape and yaha pe nothing is moving even with light walking. Is it the body still adjusting or am I doing something wrong, anyone been through this?
Yaar, weight gain is so real postpartum, scale literally refuses to budge. Actually, our hormones are totally all over the place after birth, and sleep deprivation makes us crave extra carbs. Just focus on your baby right now, weight loss can happen slowly later on!
Honestly, our bodies change so much to protect our little ones, and this weight is just a sign of that beautiful journey. I used to cry looking at my belly stretch marks and weight, but then I realized my baby is happy and fed. Give yourself at least a year, you are doing amazing, mama.
I totally understand how hard it is to look at the mirror and see a different body. But please remember, you grew a whole beautiful life inside you for nine months! It takes time for the body to heal and settle, so please be gentle with yourself, dear.
Actually weight gain is so normal after delivery, body goes through so much. I reduced mine slowly by drinking warm ajwain water and going for gentle walks after my doc cleared me. Please dont force your body or go on crash diets now, and if u feel very weak or have sudden heavy bleeding, do consult your gynac immediately.
I am just trying to conceive right now, but from what my elder sister told me, it is completely natural. The body stores fat to help with breastfeeding and recovering from delivery. I think we should just embrace this phase as a beautiful part of motherhood.
