Im around 9 weeks and getting these mild cramps in lower pet, like period jaisa feeling. Thoda tension ho jata hai every time it happens. Is this normal or should I be worried?
I had mild cramping in my first trimester which my doctor said was just the uterus growing. Walking a bit and staying hydrated really helped me. Just monitor them, and if they feel too intense, a quick chat with your gynac will give you peace of mind.
Mild cramping often happens due to ligament stretching or dehydration as the uterus grows. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of water and resting. However, if the cramps are severe, accompanied by spotting, or don't stop, you must contact your doctor immediately.
Yaar, actually minor stretching cramps are totally normal because your uterus is expanding to make space. But if they are very strong or don't go away after resting, please call your gynac. Better to be safe than sorry, na?
Please be very careful with cramps. I had severe cramping in my second trimester which turned out to be early labor signs, so I always advise everyone to take it seriously. If the cramps are strong or persistent, please contact your doctor immediately.
It is usually just your body expanding for the baby, so mild cramps are common. But please rest and, if they hurt a lot, do consult your doctor once. Stay warm and take care.
