Just found out im pregnant, around 5 weeks, and im getting these mild period-like cramps on and off. Thoda scared if its normal or not in the beginning. Did u also feel this early on?
Hey, don't stress too much! Mild cramping in early pregnancy is totally normal because your uterus is stretching to make a cozy home for the baby. Just take rest and keep yourself hydrated, you are doing great!
I had mild cramps in my first few weeks too, and my doctor told me it's just the body adapting. It felt similar to the mild contractions and healing aches I felt much later after my C-section. Rest as much as you can right now.
I have read that mild cramping can happen during early pregnancy as the baby implants and things expand. It is supposed to feel like mild period pain. But if it is very painful, maybe it's best to ask a doctor just to be safe.
While mild cramping is common, please don't ignore if it becomes severe or is accompanied by any spotting or bleeding. I had some early complications and learned it's always safest to call your gynac immediately to get it checked.
