Why do your feet swell during pregnancy?

My pair itne sooj jaate hai by evening, chappal bhi tight lagti hai now. Im 7 months. Its not painful or anything but looks scary. Why does this happen yaar, is it normal at this stage?

Actually yaar, swelling in the feet is so common because of water retention. Just keep a pillow under your feet when sleeping, it helps a lot.
