Why doctor suggest to sleep left side during pregnancy?
Every appointment my gynac reminds me to sleep on left side but never told me the reason properly. Im 6 months and honestly its hard to stay on one side whole night. Why is it so important? thoda curious.
Oh, that's a standard advice from doctors for good reason. Sleeping on the left side ensures better blood circulation to your uterus and baby. It also helps relieve pressure on your liver. It's important to follow your gynac's advice on this, it's for your and the baby's safety.
I totally remember my gynac telling me this, and then I spent hours trying to perfectly stay on my left side! It's because it helps with blood flow to the baby and your kidneys. Try to make it a habit, but don't stress if you wake up on your back sometimes, just shift back. It's a common concern, you're not alone in thinking about it.
This is very important advice, please follow it diligently. Sleeping on your left side helps ensure optimal blood flow and nutrient delivery to your baby. It also supports your organs. For me, every piece of advice from the doctor was crucial, so take this seriously for your baby's well-being.
My doctor also told me to sleep on my left side, especially as the pregnancy progressed. I found it was actually more comfortable that way anyway, once my belly started growing. They say it's helpful for the baby, but I'm not a doc to explain why, just my experience.
