Noticed mera belly button feels different now, kind of soft and starting to pop out a little. Im 6 months. Bas curious why this changes, is it normal for everyone?
My mother told me it's just the body loosening up for the baby, which is very natural. I still asked my gynac during my checkup, and she smiled and said it happens to almost everyone as the skin stretches. Don't worry, just keep moisturizing the area.
Same here, I am 24 weeks right now and noticed my belly button is suddenly so soft and squishy. Is yours also starting to pop out a little bit? I was wondering if it goes back to normal after we deliver.
Oh yes, it feels like a soft little sponge sometimes! It's just your tummy stretching out to accommodate your growing little bundle of joy. Enjoy watching how your belly changes shape every week! 🥰
Mine got so soft and practically flat before my C-section. It's because the skin and tissues are stretching so much to make space for the baby. After delivery, it took some time, but it slowly went back to its original shape.
My pregnancy tracker app explained this perfectly! As your uterus expands, it pushes your abdominal wall outward, making the belly button area stretch and feel soft or even pop out. It's completely normal anatomical changes, nothing to worry about.
