Why does lower abdomen pain during early pregnancy?
im getting this mild pulling kind of pain in my lower tummy on and off, im about 7 weeks. Its not too bad but it makes me worry every time. I plan to ask my gynac but wanted to know if others felt this too in early days.
Mild lower tummy pulling early on is usually the uterus stretching, it's pretty normal. But if it's sharp, one sided, or comes with bleeding, dont wait, call ur gynac. Mild and dull is okay, severe is not.
A little ache low down is your body making room for the baby beta, very common. Just keep an eye, if it turns severe or u see bleeding then see the doctor right away. Otherwise rest and dont worry too much.
I had this in my early weeks too and got so worried, did anyone else feel like mild period type cramps? Mine was normal stretching thankfully, but i did mention it to my gynac just to be safe.
I panicked over this exact thing, kept feeling little cramps low down. Turned out it was just the ligaments and uterus stretching. But honestly i felt better only after my doctor reassured me, so go get it checked to calm urself.
My doctor said light cramping in early weeks is common as the uterus grows and implantation settles. The warning signs she told me to watch were heavy bleeding, severe or one sided pain and dizziness, in which case go immediately.
Please dont brush this off if it feels strong. Mild pulling is normal but sharp pain with spotting needs urgent checking, that's how an issue showed up for me. When unsure always ring ur doctor early.
