Random sa sawaal but it just popped in my head yesterday. Like why exactly 9 months and not less, what is baby doing all this time? Just curious yaar, would love to understand the reason.
Honestly, 9 months is just the perfect amount of time to try all the cravings we get, haha! If it was any shorter, I wouldn't have gotten to eat so many different types of mangoes and sweets. On a serious note, the baby needs that much time to bake fully in the oven!
My dadi used to say that those 9 months are nature's way of preparing us and our families for the baby. I stayed at my parents' place and those months just flew by with all the love and pampering. It takes that much time to grow a whole new life beautifully!
According to my pregnancy tracker app, the baby goes through so many micro-developments every single week. From a tiny poppy seed to a whole watermelon, the 40-week timeline is actually scientifically calibrated for complete organ and brain growth. It's amazing to track!
It takes 40 weeks for the baby's lungs and organs to fully mature, which is why active recovery is so important. I made sure to continue my prenatal yoga and walking only after my gynac gave a green light. That physical prep really kept me going through the 9-month stretch.
Try carrying twins and you'll wish it was only 6 months, haha! But practically, babies need those full 9 months to develop fully so they can survive outside. It's tough on our bodies, but it's nature's perfect timeline.
I am currently in my 5th month and sometimes 9 months feels so long, while other days I feel it's too short to prepare. Does anyone else get this sudden anxiety about how fast time is going? I'm just taking it one week at a time.
