Since i found out im pregnant theres been a lot more white discharge than before, im in my 2nd trimester now. Its not itchy or smelly or anything just more in quantity. Why does this happen, is it the hormones?
White and mild is normal, but if you see itching, burning, foul smell or any blood, please dont ignore it, get checked. I always tell girls to mention discharge changes to their gynac. Better safe na.
My doctor said a mild white milky discharge is very normal in pregnancy, its due to increased hormones and blood flow, and it helps protect against infection. As long as it has no strong smell or itching, its fine. She told me to report if it becomes green, smelly or causes itching.
I got worried when the discharge increased a lot in my second trimester. Turned out its totally normal as long as its white and odourless. Did others also notice it increase as pregnancy went on?
