Since past week im running to the washroom literally every hour, even waking up multiple times at night. Im 9 weeks. Is this just a normal pregnancy thing or something to mention to doc?
With twins, my bladder was basically a trampoline for two babies! I spent half my pregnancy living in the bathroom. It’s just hormone changes early on, and later it's the sheer weight of the baby squishing your bladder.
Beta, this is very natural as the baby grows and presses on the bladder. Drink plenty of fresh coconut water and normal water during the day, but reduce it a bit before bedtime so you can sleep. If there is any pain, tell your doctor.
Listen, your body is producing more blood and fluids now, so your kidneys have to work double-time. That is why you keep running to the washroom. But if you feel any burning sensation or pain while peeing, tell your doctor immediately, don't ignore it.
Frequent urination is totally normal due to hormones and the baby pressing on your bladder. Just make sure it doesn't burn when you pee, because UTIs can lead to expensive treatments and extra doctor fees. Keep drinking normal water to stay hydrated.
It is just your body's beautiful way of preparing and filtering things for the baby. Don't let it irritate you, just stay positive and keep yourself clean. Take care and drink water mindfully throughout the day.
I know every sudden symptom can make you worry if everything is okay with the baby. Frequent urination is very common because of increased blood flow and hormonal changes. Just make sure to mention it to your doctor if you feel any discomfort or burning.
