Every time i brush there is some blood from gums now, didnt have this issue before pregnancy at all. Im 16 weeks. is this hormones related or do i need to see a dentist?
I felt so panicky when my gums started bleeding in my second trimester. But my dentist reassured me that pregnancy gingivitis is very common because of increased blood flow.
I totally understand how scary it is to see blood while brushing. Please don't worry, your hormones make your gums very soft and sensitive during this time.
