Getting these dull headaches almost everyday since the start of 2nd trimester. Not taking any medicine without asking doc. Is this a normal pregnancy thing or matlab something to worry about?
Headaches were a daily struggle for me because my severe morning sickness kept me dehydrated. Hormonal shifts are also a big reason. Try to sip coconut water and take plenty of rest, but do tell your doc if it doesn't go away.
Same here, I am struggling with daily mild headaches in my first trimester. Is it normal or should I be worried? Did anyone else get relief by just resting in a dark room?
Honestly, I get headaches when I don't get my favorite snacks on time, dehydration is a huge trigger! Hormones are also going crazy right now, so make sure you are drinking lots of water and eating small meals. But if it's too bad, do check with your gynac.
Please do not ignore persistent headaches, especially if you are in your second or third trimester. I had severe headaches which turned out to be high blood pressure, which can be risky. Please get your BP checked by your doctor immediately.
At my hospital, the doctors clearly instructed me to track any headache. They said mild ones are normal due to hormone surges, but severe ones need immediate attention. You should call your hospital's helpline or gynac to be absolutely safe.
