My gynac wrote HPLC in my blood test list and didnt really explain kyun. Im 9 weeks. Just curious what they actually check with this one, anyone got it done?
I was reading about this too, apparently doctors check this to make sure baby doesn't get any blood-related issues from parents. It's safe to get it done.
With twins, I had a mountain of test reports! HPLC is just to make sure there are no blood disorders passed to the baby, just get it done, standard procedure.
It's just a routine blood test to screen for thalassemia or any hemoglobin traits, nothing to worry about. Takes hardly 10 minutes, get it done quickly so you can tick it off your list.
