My MIL suddenly told my husband not to shave or cut hair now that i'm pregnant and we both were like huh. Is this some old custom in your families too? Just curious whats the reasoning behind it.
Beta these are old family beliefs, every household has such customs. In our home too there were some sayings. But honestly they are traditions, not medical facts, so dont stress if someone follows or doesnt.
Haha my husband used this very rule to avoid shaving for months, lazy man. These are old beliefs, totally harmless either way. Do what makes the family happy and dont overthink it.
This is just a superstition, it has no effect on the pregnancy at all. People follow customs out of belief and thats okay if it makes them happy. But medically there is nothing to worry about here.
