I barely gained early on because I was throwing up everything, couldnt eat much. Once the sickness eased I started gaining slowly. If it is nausea stopping you, tell your gynac, mine gave me tips to manage it and small frequent meals helped.
Some women gain late and that is okay as long as baby growth on scan is fine. The scan and the doctor matter more than the weighing scale honestly. Mention it at your visit so they can check baby is on track.
Dont compare with others, every body gains differently. Focus on eating nourishing food, add some healthy fats like nuts and ghee in small amounts. As long as your doctor says baby growth is good, you are fine.
I was worried about the same, my weight barely moved in early months. Did others also gain mostly in the second half? My doctor said baby was fine so I am trying not to panic.
