My doc started me on duphaston this week and i forgot to ask her properly why. Im 9 weeks, no bleeding or anything, so im a bit confused what its for. Can someone who took it explain pls?
I have PCOS and my doc gave it to me too in the beginning. From what I understood it's to support progesterone levels. Everyone's reason is different so I wouldnt assume, best to ask your own doctor exactly why they gave you.
I was on it during my pregnancy too. It's basically progesterone support, doctors give it when they want to support the early pregnancy. Please dont start or stop it on your own though, mine was strictly per doctor's instruction and timing.
