Im in my 5th month and this dark line has come on my tummy going from belly button down. Looks so prominent now. Why does it even come? Just curious, will it go away after delivery?
Mine appeared around 4-5 months and I remember thinking it would never go. But honestly few months postpartum it almost vanished. Its just hormones, nothing to worry about at all.
Its because of the pregnancy hormones increasing the pigment in the skin, my doctor told me. That dark line on the tummy is totally normal and most women get it. It usually fades on its own after delivery.
I felt so curious when that line appeared on my belly, almost like a little pregnancy mark. Mine got darker in later months. It faded slowly after my baby came, so dont worry about it.
Haha that line is just the hormones doing their painting work. Mine was super dark with twins, looked like someone drew on me with a marker. It goes away after, no stress.
