Since first trimester my lips stay so dry and chapped, drinking lots of paani also nothing changes. Never had this before pregnancy yaar. Is it a normal hormone thing or am i missing something?
Haan, haan, yeh toh normal hai! Pregnancy mein body mein bohot changes aate hain na. Sometimes it's because of dehydration, so lots of pani peeyo. Hormones ka bhi role hota hai. Lip balm laga ke rakho, and make sure you're eating healthy. Mere saath bhi hua tha, it gets better after some time.
Dry lips? Honey, everything gets dry during pregnancy! Your skin, your hair... probably your sense of humor too by the end. Drink water, carry a good lip balm, and just accept it as another pregnancy 'perk.' Soon you'll be too busy changing diapers to even notice! 😂
Oh god, tell me about it! My lips are always Sahara desert dry. I think it's all the extra blood volume or maybe just me forgetting to drink water because I'm too busy napping. I carry lip balm everywhere like it's my lifeline. It's like my body is just doing whatever it wants now, haha.
Oh, I totally felt this! My lips were always chapped and dry, especially in the first trimester. I think it's because our bodies need so much more water when we're pregnant, and sometimes we forget to drink enough. I kept a water bottle with me constantly and used lots of lip balm. It really made me feel better.
I'm in my second trimester and my lips feel so dry all the time! I'm constantly applying lip balm. Is this really normal for everyone? I'm drinking water but it doesn't seem to help much. Did anyone else feel like this intensely?
It's quite common to experience dry lips during pregnancy. Your body is undergoing so many changes, and increased blood volume and hormone shifts can sometimes lead to dehydration or just changes in your skin. Please ensure you are staying well-hydrated. If it persists or worries you, do bring it up with your doctor. Always listen to your body.
Dry lips can be a sign of dehydration during pregnancy, which is really important to avoid. Please make sure you're drinking plenty of water throughout the day. If it's very severe or accompanied by other symptoms, it's always wise to mention it to your doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry.
My mom always made sure I drank enough water during my pregnancy because she said dry lips mean you are not hydrated enough. It's very common, beta. Just keep a water bottle near you always, and tell your mum or MIL, they will also remind you. Use some ghee on your lips, it helps sometimes.
