Im about 6 weeks and on and off i get this mild pulling pain in my lower tummy. Its not very strong but enough to make me anxious since its my first pregnancy. Planning to mention it to my gynac but wanted to know if others felt this too in early days.
I had this exact thing in early weeks and panicked so much. My doc said light cramps and a heavy feeling are common as everything stretches. Did anyone else feel like period-type cramps early on? It scared me but turned out fine.
Beta light pain is common, the body is making space for the baby. Rest, warm water and not straining help. But agar zyada dard ho ya khoon aaye to turant doctor ko dikhao, that's not to be taken lightly.
Mild lower belly pulling early on is usually the uterus stretching and ligaments adjusting, totally normal for many of us. But if the pain is sharp, one sided, severe or comes with bleeding, that needs immediate doctor check. Don't ignore those signs.
Some mild discomfort is normal, but please be careful, severe lower pain especially with spotting or dizziness must be checked right away, sometimes it can be something serious. I'd rather you call your gynac and be reassured than wait it out.
Most early twinges are just your body adjusting, so a little is okay. Lie down, relax, stay hydrated. But keep an eye on it, if it gets intense or you spot any bleeding, ring your doctor without waiting.
