Everyone keeps telling me to sleep on left side only but nobody explains kyu. I usually turn to right in my sleep and then panic ki kahi kuch galat to nahi. Can someone explain the reason na?
Lying on the left side actually reduces the pressure on your main blood vessels, yaar. So baby ko full oxygen aur blood supply milti hai properly. Left side pe pillow support rakh ke so jao, life simple ho jayegi!
It keeps the pressure off your liver and helps with swelling too! 🤰 Try tucking a pillow between your knees, it works like magic. Sleep tight and don't stress too much! 🥰
I totally understand how uncomfortable it gets to stick to just one side all night, sweetie. But lying on your left side actually helps the blood and nutrients reach your little angel so much better. It's tough but remember you are doing this out of pure love for your baby.
Agree with others, left side sleeping is best for optimal blood flow to the placenta. Just use a soft pregnancy pillow behind your back to make it easier.
Bro, by the third trimester you feel like a stranded turtle anyway, right? Left side sleeping is scientific but honestly, I spent half my night adjusting 5 different pillows just to find one comfortable spot! Don't worry if you wake up on your back sometimes, you're not going to squish the baby.
Mujhe bhi shuru me itna panic hua tha jab doctor ne bola left side hi sona hai. I thought right side sone se baby ko harm ho jayega! But then gynac explained it just helps in better blood flow and reduces swelling. It's totally fine if you accidentally roll over to the right sometimes, just gently turn back.
