Why negative thoughts come in mind during pregnancy?
Lately my mind keeps going to dark places, like worrying something will go wrong even when everything is fine. Im in my third trimester. I feel guilty even thinking this way. Does this happen to others too?
Uff, negative thoughts are the worst, especially when you're already feeling sick with morning sickness! It's like your body is going through so much, and then your mind also starts playing tricks. Try to distract yourself with light activities and talk to someone you trust, maybe your partner or a friend. It really helps a bit.
Yeah, those negative thoughts can be really overwhelming. For me, staying active helped a lot, but only after my doc approved light walks and some prenatal yoga. It cleared my head and made me feel more in control. Please check with your gynac if you can incorporate some gentle activity too; it might just give you that boost.
Oh, I so relate to this! During my first trimester, I also had so many weird, negative thoughts and anxieties. I think it's just the massive hormonal changes messing with our heads. For me, it slowly got better as the pregnancy progressed, but it was def a phase.
Girl, it's just the hormones playing games with you. Your body is undergoing huge changes, and your brain reacts to that. Don't overthink it too much. Just acknowledge them and let them pass. If it gets too much, definitely talk to your gynac, they can offer professional guidance.
Honestly, I also used to panic so much initially when these thoughts came. I thought something was wrong with me. But then I talked to my doc and other moms, and they all said it's super common. It's the hormonal rollercoaster, trust me. Just try to keep yourself busy and positive thoughts will follow.
Oh, this is something I've heard from my friends too, and it worries me a bit for when I plan to conceive. It sounds like a really tough part of pregnancy. I hope it's just a phase because no one wants to feel negative during such a special time. Thanks for asking, it's good to know others feel this too.
