We have been trying for almost a year now and nothing is happening. Both of us got basic tests done and reports came normal which is making me more confused. Has anyone been through this, what did u do next?
I totally understand the ache behind this question. Please dont blame urself. So many women I know waited and then it happened. Get the right guidance from a doctor and take care of ur heart too, ok.
Take a breath, beta. This doesnt mean something is wrong with u. Track ur cycle, eat well, and if a year has passed trying, see a fertility specialist calmly. You are not alone in this at all.
For me it was PCOS that delayed things, my cycles were irregular. I wont assume thats ur case but a checkup can find out. Dont lose hope, once we knew the reason the treatment made a difference. Be gentle with urself.
First thing, give it proper time and track ur fertile days, many couples conceive within a year of trying. If its been over a year, both of u should get checked, not just the woman. A doctor is the right person to find the actual reason.
We are also trying since some months and I get how anxious this feels. Someone told me stress itself can delay it, so we are trying to relax a bit. If its been long though, a doctor visit is the safest step na.
I know how heavy this question feels, I was there for a long time. There can be so many reasons and most are treatable. Pls see a good gynac together with ur partner and get basic tests done, it really helped us understand. Sending u lots of strength.
My doctor explained reasons can be timing, hormones, thyroid, PCOS, or factors on the partner's side too. She said dont self diagnose, just do the basic tests for both. Knowing the cause is half the relief honestly, so please go get checked.
