Twice this week i got a small nose bleed out of nowhere, never happened to me before. Im around 5 months now. It scared me a little, is this a normal pregnancy thing? planning to mention it to my doc.
My gynac told me nosebleeds are common because blood volume increases and the nose lining gets more sensitive in pregnancy. She said to keep the air a bit humid and not blow my nose too hard. If it's heavy or frequent, definitely flag it to your doctor.
Most times it's harmless but if you also have bad headaches or it just wont stop, please get your BP checked with your gynac. Don't take chances during pregnancy.
