Ok this sounds silly but my husband actually pointed out my nose looks wider in recent pics and now I cant unsee it lol. Im in my third trimester. Is this a real pregnancy thing or im just imagining? anyone else noticed this?
Haha yes the famous pregnancy nose! Mine looked like it grew overnight and my husband was too scared to mention it. Its just the hormones and extra blood flow making things puffy, it goes back to normal after delivery, dont worry.
I felt so self conscious about this, my whole face including nose looked fuller in the last months. But truly it came back to normal a few weeks after baby came. Its just the body holding extra fluid.
My mother used to say if your nose spreads, its a girl, totally a myth ha. Its actually just hormones and water retention. It reduces by itself after delivery, so dont take any tension over it.
My gynac explained its the pregnancy hormones increasing blood flow, so the tissue in nose and face swells up a bit. Its temporary and settles after delivery for most women. Nothing to treat, totally normal.
