Im around 6 weeks and getting these mild pulling type pains in lower pet. Its not severe but enough to make me worry yaar. Is this normal in start or should i be concerned?
Your uterus is basically doing a major renovation job in there, so some stretching pain is bound to happen! With my twins, the stretching started early and felt like mild period cramps. However, if the pain gets severe, or if there's any bleeding, drop everything and see your doctor because safety always comes first.
Light cramping is often just implantation or your uterus expanding, but any distinct lower abdominal pain should be discussed with your doctor. When I noticed it, I immediately called my hospital coordinator to confirm it was normal. They will always advise you best, especially to rule out any early complications, so don't hesitate to contact your care team.
During my first trimester, I had mild lower abdominal cramps which my doctor said was just the uterus expanding. Since my schedule was super packed, I kept a close eye on it and stayed hydrated. But a realistic tip: if the pain is sharp or persistent, don't wait around, just book a quick appointment with your gynac to get it checked.
Mild pulling or cramping in the lower abdomen can be quite normal early on as your uterus stretches to make space. When I was pregnant, I felt these light cramps too, which is just the body adjusting. But please, if the pain is sharp, on one side, or if you see any spotting, call your gynac immediately to be safe.
Your body is currently hosting a tiny tenant who is redecorating the place, so a little stretching pain is completely normal! Think of it as your uterus warming up for the big marathon. Just keep an eye out—if the pain goes from 'mild stretch' to 'ouch, this hurts badly' or if there's spotting, definitely dial your doc right away!
