I know periods stop once ur pregnant but i never really understood the reason behind it na. Just curious how the body works like this. Anyone who knows pls explain simply.
Beta when the baby is growing, the body holds everything inside for the baby, so monthly bleeding stops. In our time also that's how we first came to know. If you see any spotting though, do tell the doctor.
Same I had this doubt early on. Basically the hormones change and the uterus keeps its lining for the baby so periods pause till delivery. Mine stopped the whole pregnancy and came back months after.
Because the egg got fertilised the cycle stops dear, the body doesnt shed the lining now. My amma also told me the same. But light spotting can happen sometimes, that you should ask your gynac about to be safe.
Simple baat hai, once you conceive the lining inside stays to support the baby instead of shedding, so no period. That's why a missed period is usually the first hint of pregnancy.
Arre that's totally normal yaar, periods stop because the body shifts to baby mode and keeps the lining. They will come back after delivery, dont stress about it.
