This is so uncomfortable to even type but im in my third trimester and dealing with piles now, never had this before. Is it because of the pregnancy or something im eating? Want to understand why it suddenly started.
For me it came from constipation. I focused on fibre rich foods and staying hydrated which helped my bowels stay regular. Just keep an eye on portions if you have any sugar issue. And let the doctor know if it gets painful.
Mainly because of constipation and the extra pressure of the growing baby on the lower veins. I got it in my second pregnancy. Fibre, lots of water and not straining in the toilet really helps, take it seriously early.
My gynac said the increased blood flow plus pressure from the uterus on the rectal veins causes them, and constipation makes it worse. She told me to up my fibre and water. For the discomfort she suggested a few things, so do ask yours rather than buying any cream on your own.
Beta this happens mostly due to constipation in pregnancy. Soaked raisins, papaya, plenty of water and warm sitz baths can ease it. But if there is bleeding or a lot of pain, please show the doctor, dont just bear it.
Its quite common dear, dont feel embarrassed about it. The pressure and slow digestion in pregnancy cause it. Keep your stools soft with diet, and if it bothers you a lot, your doctor can help safely.
