My skin was always clear but ever since i got pregnant my whole face is breaking out, especially chin and cheeks. Im 10 weeks. Is it the hormones doing this? anyone else got sudden acne and did it go away later?
It's the hormones, they go up and make skin oily so pimples pop up. Totally normal. Just keep your face clean with a mild wash, dont pick at them. And please dont use any acne cream without asking your gynac, some aren't safe now.
It's mostly the hormonal surge, very common. My mother told me to keep the skin clean and not worry, it cleared up after delivery for me. Just avoid random creams, ask your doctor what's safe to use.
Hormonal changes are the reason yaar. I stuck to simple stuff, washed face twice, drank water, ate less oily food. Avoided strong chemicals. For any strong acne medicine definitely check with doctor first.
