Bought a test kit and the box says use first morning urine. I tested in evening last time and it was faint, so now im wondering if timing actually matters that much. Anyone knows why?
When I was testing, I did it first thing in the morning because the urine is most concentrated then. I got a very clear dark line on my test strip compared to the evening test.
While morning urine is standard because of higher hCG levels, it's always safest to check with your gynac. They might recommend a blood test which is 100% accurate.
My doctors clearly explained that the pregnancy hormone hCG is most concentrated in the first morning urine. If you have any doubts, just call your hospital coordinator or lab for instructions.
Morning testing gives the most reliable result because the hormone levels are strong after sleeping all night. Stay positive, use a good kit, and hopefully you will see those beautiful double lines!
I just delivered a few months ago and remember this clearly! Morning urine has the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone, so you get an accurate positive result easily without any light-line confusion.
