By the end of the day my feet look so puffed up, even my chappals feel tight. Im in third trimester now. Just want to understand kyu hota hai this swelling, is it normal at this stage?
Oh god, the swollen feet! I literally just went through this. Mine started around the 7th month and just got worse. It's because your body holds more fluid and the growing uterus puts pressure on your veins. It's uncomfortable but mostly normal. Just make sure to tell your doc about it.
Ho na, mere bhi pair soojh gaye the pregnancy mein. Normal hai yeh! Hormones aur body mein fluid retention ki wajah se hota hai. Bas zyada der khade mat raho aur pair thode upar karke baitho. Gynac ko batana zaroor, na? But mostly it's okay, nothing to panic over.
It's super common for feet and ankles to swell during pregnancy, they call it edema. Basically, your body produces extra blood and fluid, plus the growing uterus presses on veins, affecting blood return from your legs. Keep your feet elevated and stay hydrated. But if swelling is sudden or severe, especially with headache, call your doc immediately.
Swollen feet are a standard pregnancy symptom, don't worry too much. It's due to increased blood volume and fluid retention, combined with pressure from the uterus. Just elevate your legs whenever possible, wear comfortable shoes, and try to walk a bit. If it's sudden or very painful, obviously call your doctor.
