Why there is white discharge during early pregnancy?
Im about 6 weeks and noticing a lot more white discharge than usual. No smell or itching or anything, just the amount surprised me. is this just a pregnancy thing? wanted to know before my next appointment.
My gynac called it leucorrhoea, said it's the body's way of protecting the area from infection during pregnancy. Increased estrogen causes it. She told me to watch for any colour change, odour, or itching as those would need a check.
I can only share what happened with me, I had this from the start and it was nothing concerning, just normal discharge. But everyone's different, so if something feels off for you, best to ask ur own doctor.
Mere saath bhi yehi ho raha hai right now, glad someone asked! So the milky white thin one is normal na? I just wanted to be sure it's not something I need to rush to the doctor for.
It's totally normal in early pregnancy, happens because of the hormones and increased blood flow down there. Mild, milky white, no strong smell, no itching, that's fine. If it turns smelly, green or itchy, then see ur gynac.
I felt so worried when I noticed this early on, kept thinking something was off. Turned out it's a normal pregnancy thing, my doctor reassured me. As long as it's white and not itchy or foul, it's just your body adjusting.
