My gynac told me to book TIFFA next month and I got nervous because I dont know what they check in it. Is it like normal ultrasound only or something more detailed? Please share what happened in your scan.
Tiffa is the anomaly scan done around 18-22 weeks. My doctor said it checks the baby organs, heart, brain, spine and growth in detail to make sure development is going well. Its an important one, dont skip it.
Its the detailed anomaly scan, very standard part of pregnancy care. It screens for any structural issues early. Your gynac will explain the report properly, so go with whatever she advises.
Its just a careful scan to see baby is growing well, nothing to fear. Most of the time everything comes out perfectly normal. Take someone along, its a sweet moment to see baby too.
Its the level 2 scan, basically a full body check of baby. Both times mine was around 20 weeks. Takes a bit longer than normal scans because they look at everything carefully. Book it on time na.
I have my tiffa next week and im honestly a little nervous. They told me its to check baby is developing fine. Did anyone else feel anxious before this scan? How did it go for you all?
