My thyroid was always normal but my latest report showed TSH gone up and my gynac increased my dose. Im confused why pregnancy itself makes it rise. Did this happen to anyone else here?
My gynac explained the hormones of pregnancy affect the thyroid gland's working, and your requirement increases especially in first trimester. That's why they check TSH early and keep monitoring. If it goes high they manage it, its very common and treatable.
