Why urine pregnancy test is negative and blood is positive?
So confused yaar. My home urine strip showed negative but the blood report came positive. Doc has not explained much yet, just said come for repeat. Anyone faced this? is it normal or should i be worried?
When my lab results came, I directly called my coordinator at Max Hospital to clear my doubts. They explained that blood tests are much more sensitive. Definitely ask your hospital team, they guide you best.
With my PCOS, my cycles were always erratic and urine tests showed negative even when I was pregnant. The blood test finally confirmed it for me. It's safe to believe the blood report but definitely consult your doc soon.
Oh sweetie, I can totally feel how confusing and stressful this must be for you right now. Honestly, blood tests are way more accurate and sensitive than urine ones. Trust the blood test result, and just breathe, you are doing great.
Actually, blood tests catch the hCG hormone much earlier than urine tests. Don't waste time overthinking the urine strip. Just book an appointment with your gynac to confirm the next steps.
In my case, the home test showed a faint line first and then a negative, but my doctor did a blood test and it was positive. I stopped testing at home after that because it just caused unnecessary stress.
Oh wow, I didn't know this could happen! I'm also trying to conceive and this gives me so much hope. Did u wait many days before taking the blood test?
