Im in my 9th week and throwing up almost every morning, sometimes after lunch too. I keep wondering what's actually causing it inside the body. Curious to understand the reason behind it.
Normal nausea is fine, but if u are vomiting very frequently and unable to eat or drink, dont just bear it. I got dehydrated once and needed help. Please mention severe vomiting to ur doctor, there are safe options.
Welcome to the morning sickness club, where morning means all day haha. Its the hormones throwing a party in ur body. It does pass though, hang in there with some nimbu paani.
Its very common ma, the body is just adjusting to the hormones. My mother in law gave me a bit of lemon water and it eased the nausea. But if u cant keep any food or water down, please tell ur gynac, that needs attention.
My doctor explained its because of the hcg hormone and changing estrogen in early pregnancy, thats why its called morning sickness even though it can happen anytime. Usually settles by 12 to 14 weeks. She said keep hydrated since vomiting can dehydrate u fast.
Oh I know this struggle too well, I threw up for almost full first trimester. Its mostly the pregnancy hormones rising fast that cause it. Small frequent meals and dry biscuits in morning before getting up helped me a bit.
