I've been experiencing a lot of nausea and vomiting since my pregnancy started. Is it normal to have such severe morning sickness, and why does this happen during pregnancy?
Nausea is normal due to hormones, but if u can't keep even water down, please talk to your gynac. I had severe vomiting and had to get IV fluids, so don't let dehydration happen.
Yes, hormones do this, but if it gets too heavy, gynac might write expensive blood tests or urine routine to check dehydration. To avoid unnecessary hospital admission bills, try keeping hydrated with simple home lemonade or coconut water first.
It's totally due to pregnancy hormones peaking in early weeks. Sucking on dry ginger or lemon slice helped me a lot, hang in there it gets much better!
Haha double the babies, double the vomiting for me! Your body is working overtime to build a human, so simple dry toast before getting out of bed is a lifesaver.
Uff don't ask, mine started in first week itself and literally felt like a hangover without the fun part! It usually goes away after first trimester but my little monster kept me nauseous till month 5.
