My doc told me to walk daily but didnt really explain much. Im in my 6th month and feel lazy most days tbh. Can someone tell me how it actually helps? maybe it'll motivate me to start.
Walking helps with digestion, sugar control and an easier labour, both times my gynac encouraged it. Even a slow 20 minutes is good. Just listen to your body and stop if tired.
Walking kept my blood circulation good and helped with swelling and mood. My doctor cleared me for gentle daily walks and it made a real difference. Just dont overdo it, slow and steady is the way.
Honestly a little daily walk just makes you feel lighter and less moody yaar. Dont stress about doing a lot, even a small round helps. Just keep it comfortable.
For me walking after meals was a big help in keeping my sugar in check during GD. My doctor specifically recommended it. A gentle stroll, nothing strenuous, made a noticeable difference.
