Got my CBC done this week and wbc count came a bit on the higher side. I dont have any fever or cold so im confused why it would go up just because of pregnancy. Will ask my gynac next visit but wanted to know if this happened to anyone else.
Haan ye toh normal hota hai na pregnancy mein. Mera bhi high tha har baar. Doctor ne kaha tension mat lo, body apne aap zyada cells banati hai is time.
My gynac told me this is super normal in pregnancy, the body just makes more white cells to protect u and the baby. She said mine was a bit raised in every report and she wasnt worried at all. Only if u also have fever or pain together with it she wanted to check, otherwise its expected.
Both my pregnancies WBC was on the higher side, dont read too much into one number. The doc looks at the full picture not just that. If ur reports are otherwise fine, leave it.
Usually its normal but I'll just say, if its high AND u feel feverish or burning while peeing, please show ur doctor. Mine turned out to be a small infection that time so better to confirm than guess from google.
Mild rise is just the pregnancy doing its thing. But honestly the safest is to ask ur gynac to read the report with u, they know if its expected or something to look at. I always did that instead of self interpreting.
