Why we should not wear new clothes during pregnancy?
My MIL told me not to buy any new clothes for myself or the baby till later, she didnt really explain why. Is this just an old belief or is there some actual reason behind it? Curious what u all heard.
Arre it's just an old custom, no science behind it. Wear whatever is comfortable, especially loose stuff for your growing belly. Don't let these things confuse you.
These are traditional beliefs that vary from home to home. I'd say do what keeps your heart at peace and don't stress over old sayings. Stay positive and comfortable, that matters most for you and baby.
My MIL also had a few such beliefs and I just smiled and followed the easy ones for her happiness. Honestly there's no medical reason, it's more of an old custom in some families. I wore new comfy maternity clothes happily.
