Why white discharge occurs in female during pregnancy?
Im in my first trimester and noticing thoda more white discharge than usual. Its not itchy or smelly or anything but its new for me so naturally im curious. Is this just a pregnancy thing?
Based on my research, this is called leukorrhea and it increases due to high estrogen and blood flow to the vaginal area. My gynac explained that it prevents bacteria from entering the uterus. However, if it looks clumpy like paneer or causes burning, it could be a yeast infection, so get it checked.
