Married almost a year and trying properly for few months but still nothing. Starting to feel a bit low about it honestly. Why does it take longer for some, anyone been through this?
Yaar honestly stress itself makes it harder, it is a vicious circle. Sometimes it just takes time even when everything is fine. Dont lose hope, get a checkup if needed and try not to pressure yourself.
There can be so many reasons, hormonal issues like PCOS, thyroid, irregular cycles, or sometimes timing. With my PCOS it took patience and a doctor's help. Please dont blame yourself, and if it is taking time, a checkup can find the reason.
My doctor said factors include age, ovulation problems, tube issues, sperm quality and lifestyle like stress and weight. Many of these are treatable once identified. If a couple has tried for a year without success, she said that is the time to get evaluated.
I want to gently say, taking time to conceive is more common than people admit, you are not alone. There can be reasons on either partner's side, so it helps to get both checked. Be kind to yourself through this, it is an emotional road.
