Everyone at ghar keeps stopping me from bending to pick things or do floor work. Im only 4 months so its not even that hard yet. Whats the actual reason behind this, is it really risky?
Beta, it's mostly for your own comfort and safety. As your womb expands, bending puts a lot of pressure on your abdomen and back. Just be mindful of your body and take precautions. Listen to your body and your doctor. Bhagwan sab acha karenge, just take care of yourself and the precious life inside you.
My mother used to tell me not to bend, especially in the later months. It's mostly because the growing tummy makes it uncomfortable and puts strain on your back. Also, your balance can be tricky. My doctor also said it is to prevent falls, so it is a good practice to squat instead of bending. It is for your safety, child.
I’m not pregnant yet, but I’ve heard about this from my MIL and elders. I think they say it's because the bump gets big, so bending can put strain on the back and tummy. Also, maybe it’s to prevent falling down. I’m trying to be careful even now, just in case.
Oh god, I worried about bending so much! The main reason is really the pressure on your abdomen and back, and also the risk of losing balance. Your center of gravity shifts, you know? What if you trip? Always squat down using your knees instead of bending at the waist. It’s better to be overly cautious than take any chances, I always felt.
The main reason is really to protect your back and your baby from undue pressure. Bending over can be very uncomfortable, and with a growing belly, it's easy to lose balance. It has nothing to do with food or diabetes directly, but maintaining good posture is important for overall well-being. Always squat instead of bending at the waist.
Its mainly because of your growing belly which makes it difficult and puts strain on your back. Also, your balance gets affected, so you could fall. Best is to squat down with knees instead of bending from the waist, or ask someone to pick up things for you. Simple solutions make life easy.
Bending is generally avoided because as the belly grows, it puts pressure on your back and also on the baby. It's not good for your posture, and you can lose balance easily. If you really need to pick something up, sit down first, or squat instead of bending from the waist. It's safer. My nani always said to sit and pick up.
