Will body temperature rise during early pregnancy?
Period is due in a few days and these last few mornings im feeling warmer than usual. No cold or fever, just a slightly hot feeling. Could this be an early pregnancy thing?
Yes, the basal body temperature stays slightly raised after conception, thats actually one of the early clues. I was tracking mine and noticed it didnt drop like before periods. A small rise, not a fever.
The small temp rise is normal due to progesterone. But pls dont confuse it with fever. If your temperature actually goes high or you feel chills and unwell, ring your doctor, fever in pregnancy needs attention.
I felt warm all the time in my early weeks and kept asking my mom if it was normal. She said yes its the hormones. Just a low warmth na, not a real fever.
A mild warm feeling is normal early on, hormones do that. But this is a slight rise, not an actual fever. If you get a real fever with temperature crossing 100, thats different, get that checked.
