I just had my baby and I had a 4cm fibroid. It grew slightly during my first trimester but after that it stopped growing completely. My delivery was totally normal, and my doctor says it will probably shrink on its own now.
According to my pregnancy tracker, only about 30% of fibroids actually grow during pregnancy, mostly in the first trimester because of the hormone surge. The rest of them usually stay the same size or even shrink after delivery. Keep tracking your ultrasound reports to monitor it!
Don't worry too much! 🌸 While some fibroids might grow slightly due to pregnancy hormones, many actually stay exactly the same size. Just keep attending your regular scans so your gynac can keep an eye on them! 😊
Hamein lagta hai bohot badi bimari hai par aisa nahi hai behan. Mere padosi ko bhi thha, baby thik se hua aur fibroid ka size bhi nahi badha. Doctor ki salah lete rehna aur dhyan rakhna.
It is very natural to feel anxious about this, dear. Some fibroids do grow a bit in the early months because of hormones, but they often don't cause any issues at all. Just stay in close touch with your doctor, they will monitor it gently during each scan.
I felt so scared when the doctor first told me I had a fibroid during my 8-week scan. I cried thinking it would harm the baby, but my gynecologist reassured me that most fibroids stay safe. Mine grew just a tiny bit and didn't create any problems.
When I was staying with my parents, we found out about a small fibroid in my scan. My mother comforted me saying these things are very common and usually don't interfere with the baby. It remained the same size throughout, so please stay calm and happy.
